Today, the FBI arrested a couple dozen high profile gang leaders of Mara Salvatrucha-13 or commonly, "MS-13". This is the most violent and most murderous of street gangs. MS-13 is found all across America.
These arrests are good news. However, there is a bigger story, an aspect of this which finds left liberals in very embarrassing circumstances.
Alex Sanchez is the executive director of "Homies Unidos" which is alleged to be a "gang intervention" organization. Sanchez is arrested by the FBI along with many top level gang members. Turns out Alex Sanchez is the top dog, the boss of MS-13 here in the Southwest.
The official web site for Homies Unidos vanished today. Might be this is a problem with so many famous left liberal politicians being listed on the Homies Unidos web site as both supporters of and fund raisers for this MS-13 front organization.
Charges are racketeering, conspiracy to commit murder and other serious charges.
Of interest to me is many left liberal politicians support this false front organization for MS-13 and have supported this street gang for almost two decades.
Mayor Antonio R. Villaraigosa of Los Angeles, who announced he would not run for California state governor just before all these arrests, Villaraigosa is the primary supporter of Homies Unidos, a front organization for MS-13.
Former Senator Tom Hayden, infamous radical of the Sixties involved with Bill Ayers, Bernardine Dohrn and other domestic terrorists, has been a staunch supporter of Homies Unidos for many years. You know of Ayers or should well know of Ayers.
Years back, the Los Angeles Police Department fought to have gang leader Alex Sanchez deported to El Salvador. Senator Tom Hayden prevented deportation by arranging "political asylum" for Sanchez. Result is Sanchez went on to both commit and order a lot of murders.

No surprise the biggest fund raiser and biggest financial supporter of Homies Unidos and the Mara Salvatrucha-13 gang, is simply Hollywood.
Hollywood gangsters, but this time not celluloid gangsters.
