However, Sunstein is granted power to initiate civil litigation against those bloggers he believes are not being truthful. Sunstein has the power to sue a web site owner, a blog owner and blog commenters in federal court. His power includes ability to obtain a court order which directs all involved to remove blog comments or even remove an entire blog.
Fines are alleged to be limited to $15,000 but this does not include legal fees.
An example is this article of mine, which is critical of Obama, can be removed by Sunstein and I can be hauled into court, fined and have to pay tens of thousands of dollars in legal fees. Clearly the most logical choice is for me to simply take down my entire website; Puma Politics no longer exists.
Ultimate authority on what is truth and what is not, is given to Sunstein and Obama.
Google around and read scary snippets from Sunstein's soon to be released book:
Equally scary, Obama is now censoring out "You Tube" videos from his government web site, not allowing or removing videos which are not favorable to Obama.
Here is an article from Atlas Shrugs discussing censorship of a White House news conference video in which Helen Thomas
and Chip Reid critique Obama for his staged and crafted town hall meeting on health care and critique Obama for hand
selecting reporters and questions during press conferences.
Atlas Shrugs Article
To summarize, Obama now has the power to remove blog comments and to sue us for blog comments Obama believes are not
"truthful". Obama is creating the Consumer Financial Protection Agency which can haul you into court for so much as
writing, "I like Amazon Dot Com". Obama is now censoring out any commentary, news reports, videos and such, which do
not favor him, from official government web sites supported by taxpayer money; web sites for which you and I pay.
This is "government transparency" Obama style.
