Congressman Charles Rangel is a well known criminal guilty of committing massive tax fraud. Charles Rangel also chairs our congressional Ways and Means Committee which is responsible for writing tax laws effecting all of us. Rangel has written and continues to write tax laws which impose serious fines and even imprisonment upon citizens who do not pay their taxes either accidently or intentionally. For years, Rangel's thrust is stripping away taxpayer rights, very harshly treating taxpayers who make innocent mistakes when reporting taxes and making sure all Americans suffer much higher tax rates. Rangel is very much working against Americans.
How ironic Rangel is amongst the best known tax cheats of our modern times; he writes rules like a tyrant yet does not follow the very rules he writes.
Bad enough the man in charge of writing our tax laws is a recalcitrant tax cheat, his chief of staff, Jim Capel, and his legal counsel, George Dalley, are discovered to be years long tax cheats. Rangel, his chief of staff and his legal counsel, all responsible for writing our tax laws, are nothing more than criminals yet to be convicted of serious felony level crimes.
Rangel is mounting a defense against ethics charges and criminal charges using public funds. So far, Rangel has spent more than a hundred grand of his campaign funds, donated by the public, to hire legal counsel to defend him. This spending of public funds for legal defense is unlawful under federal election laws. Rangel's cohort in crime, George Dalley, is arguing spending public funds to defend against ethics charges and criminal charges is lawful. Dalley is arguing federal laws prohibiting this type of expenditure do not apply to Rangel. Rather odd, that, laws which apply to all others but do not apply to Rangel.
To further protect himself, Rangel has paid bribes to members of the House Ethics Committee which is investigating him. Rangel has donated tens of thousands of dollars to campaign funds of three members of this committee, Congressman Butterfield of North Carolina, Congressman Chandler of Kentucky and Congressman Welch of Vermont. All three elected representatives have accepted Rangel's bribes. All are democrats as is Rangel. Best I know, accepting bribes to sway outcome of an investigation is unlawful.
Rangel is a racist as is Barack Obama. Early this September, Rangel indicated those who oppose policies of Obama are racists. This would be half or more of Americans and, most likely, includes you the reader. According to Rangel, you are a racist. In the same vain as Obama labeling the Cambridge Police Department racists, Rangel announced Obama would be shot by white police officers if Obama visited Harlem. Rangel has announced all white cops in New York as being racists, murderous racists who would kill our president.
Rangel is a criminal who has been engaging in massive tax fraud for years. His high level staff members are also criminals engaging in the same tax fraud. Rangel is using public funds to defend himself and is using public funds to pay bribes to other democrats. Rather clear Rangel is as much of a racist as is Barack Obama.
Rangel well serves as an icon of the Democratic Party and an icon of the Obama presidency; crime, corruption
and racism. Rangel needs to be wrangled, hog tied then tossed into prison.
